Traditional Yorkshire Pudding

125g of plain flour

200ml Soya milk

2 tablespoons of vegetable oil

A pinch of salt

 

Preheat the oven to 200°C/Gas mark 5

Place the flour and salt in a mixing bowl, add the egg and half the milk. Mix well.

When the mixture is smooth, add the other half of the milk and mix until there are bubbles on the surface of the mixture.

 

Heat the oil in a roasting tin for about 10 minutes then pour in the batter mixture.

Cook for 35-40 minutes until golden and risen.
